Signs of Life!

My garden is finally showing some colour! I still need to find me a gardener to help sort the far end of the garden out … its quite the jungle! But the grassy bit is starting to look pretty 🙂

Soon my hedgehog den, bee house (that my amazing dad is currently making for me) and mini pond will be installed and my garden will have lots of visitors! I can’t wait!!

Edit below: full garden shots

This is the view from our patio.

This is looking up the garden at the house! The green house isn’t very functional as it needs glass replacing, but I’m thinking of just getting it taken down instead.

This little blue house is tucked away in a corner and is a resting place for the stray cat who occasionally visits, and at one point a pregnant cat, but she didn’t stick around too long, just for a couple of nights!

  1. Lovely roses 🙂 And so many different ones too. We used to have a field at the back of us. It created the feeling that the garden was much bigger than it was. You’ll soon have lots of wildlife visiting 🙂

    • The field at the back of us is amazing, we see so many different birds, rabbits and other things … but sadly they’re building a new rugby ground and shopping centre … smack bang right behind our houses! Gutted 😦 the planning permission only got passed cause the castleford tigers fans banded together, not one person on our street wanted it to be approved!

  2. Gods, I’m not surprised!! Are you going to try to move house before it gets built?
It’s a shame a rare species of something cant be discovered in the field to prevent them from building.

    • I could plant one! Borrow a creature for a little while. Yeah we will be moving eventually, but grandad Tom lives two doors up from us here, sadly he’s not in a position to move house any time soon at 90! He will have to deal with all the noise, light pollution and traffic 😦
